About Us

In December of 2001, Mary Ann and Ed purchased Collector’s Pick in Cottonwood, AZ.  We were living in New Jersey at the time and a synchronicity of events brought us to this point.  We had been working part time at a business we called Mary’s Peaceful Universe.  This chain of events allowed us to fulfill the vision that Mary Ann had and we combined both businesses.  We had vacationed in Arizona for many years and had just returned from here prior to the Divine Plan starting events to bring us here permanently.  What could have been better than an opportunity to enjoy the awesome weather, views, wonderful people, the great western outdoors, and this little shop.  As all things fell into place in a very short time, we knew by the synchronicity of these events that a higher power (God) was truly in charge and we were being re-located to Cottonwood for a whole new journey in life.  Over our time here we have met wonderful people both from here and all over the world.  Many people have come into our lives and we have had experiences that we never thought possible.  We are constantly adding new items and services to our business.  Presently, in addition to our Spa Environment, we have an adjacent gallery where we offer a variety of (from collector thru general user) of gems, minerals, crystals, animal sculptures, jewelry (from costume thru 18 & 24 K), greeting cards, books, incense, gift items, pottery, candles, religious sculptures and fountains to name a few.  We are proud of the fact that the majority of our business comes from the people who live here and are pleased that we can provide the services and products they need.  The pictures above only show a small portion of our business.  We are located in two suites and try to provide an atmosphere conducive to the needs of our customers.  The business is primarily managed and maintained by Mary Ann whose vision has brought about the variety and selection of products and services.
